Kaeru no Uta- Japanese Frog Song

This cute children’s song was the first I learned when studying Japanese.  The song is simply about the sound a frog makes. Kaeru is a frog.  Uta means song. No is a particle that means possession.  This youtube video is the cutest I found.  The animation looks Japanese.

The lyrics: Kaeru no uta ga kikoete kuru yo. Gwa, Gwa, Gwa, Gwa, Gero, Gero, Gero, Gero, Gwa, Gwa, Gwa.

Translation: I can hear the song of the frog. Croak, croak, croak, croak, ribbit, ribbit, ribbit, ribbit, croak, croak, croak.
